Food Stamp Payment Schedule

When you sign up for SNAP benefits, the state determines how much you will receive each month during the food stamps application process. While receiving these benefits, you are given a EBT card, which is like a debit card that allows you to purchase groceries at approved SNAP retailers throughout the US. This is how they refill the food stamp benefits each month, on your card through the digital process called EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer).

Each state has a different schedule when your food stamps benefits are refilled onto your EBT card each month. Some do it based on your Social Security number, some do it based on your birth date. To find out when your card is refilled each month, select your state below.
